Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a visionary Chief Operating Officer to build and optimize the operational backbone of our company. As a key member of our founding team, you will drive efficiency, scalability, and operational excellence—ensuring the company is well-positioned for long-term growth. You'll work closely with leadership to refine processes, align operations with our mission, and scale impact across the board.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a scalable operational strategy aligned with company objectives.
- Streamline workflows across departments—from product development to customer support—to boost efficiency.
- Build and lead high-performance cross-functional teams, encouraging collaboration and accountability.
- Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and financial forecasting for optimal fund utilization.
- Establish and manage vendor, supplier, and external partner relationships to strengthen operations.
- Implement KPIs and performance tracking systems for data-driven insights and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, data protection laws, and risk mitigation protocols.
- Continuously evaluate and implement tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
Qualifications & Attributes
- 3 to 15+ years of experience in operations management, ideally in a fast-growing tech or AI startup.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach to building scalable operations.
- Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and creating a high-performance culture.
- Strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities in dynamic startup environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills for identifying operational bottlenecks and implementing effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with operational tools such as project management software, CRMs, and ERP platforms.
- Adaptability to pivot strategies based on changing business and market dynamics.

Working Hours
Flexible, with at least 4 hours overlap between 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM EST (6:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST). We encourage asynchronous productivity with regular syncs.
Compensation
Equity-based or commission-based (until profitability); transitioning to a competitive salary based on industry standard.
